Electric Fetus & The Farewell Circuit

I coerced my lovely mum to take me to the Electric Fetus today, because I heard they were having a garage sale. If that in itself sounds exiting, you just wait! We found some super cheap CDs outside, then headed in because there was live music.

I love the inside of this place. It’s so much cooler than you expect a music and smoking merchandise store to be. We walked around a bit, and I bought a super soft tank top. Then we headed over to the sound of the music… where we found The Farewell Circuit.

Here are some more vids that don’t do justice.

So to sum it all up, I had a pretty solid day! These guys are great. I love their dreamy indie sound, and was surprised by the bouts of rocking out, complete with guitar solos. Their drummer is awesome, and plays some kind of bean bag thing… I l found it quite interesting! The lead singer has an amazing voice. It’s not whiny or screamy or scratchy. It’s smooth, lulling, and very easy on the ears. I bought their CD, because I, sadly, don’t have a record player (sorry to the disheartened Electric Fetus cashier), and am listening to it now. You can find them on Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, and, of course, Bandcamp. Enjoy!
